When Will I Get My Car?
You will select the desired start date for your SIXT Car Subscription during the online booking process. Then, you can find the start date you specified in your online login account and in your subscription confirmation email.

Each Subscription includes a level of insurance. To optimally fit your needs, you can select an excess reduction package.
what do the sample vehicles per vehicle group mean? which vehicle will i receive?
Our claim to all of our SIXT Car Subscription offers is to cover our customers’ individual mobility needs as flexibly, quickly and immediately as possible. The vehicle you choose, is the motorcar and specification you will receive upon confirming your subscription. Our SIXT SUBSCRIBE NEW cars are all brand cars and the SIXT SUBSCRIBE MONTHLY are near new cars. A representative will be in touch to finalise your vehicle and plan.
will i receive a new car?
With SIXT SUBSCRIBE NEW you will receive a new car with less than 1000 kilometers. This will be an experience you will never forget.

What other costs can occur on top of the monthly rate?
With your subscription there is no sign-up fee*
When renting a rental car, it is also common to leave a deposit as security for the rental car. This deposit amount is reserved on the means of payment upon collection and depends on the rented vehicle group. If a security deposit is required, this will be returned to the subscriber within (7) working days after the vehicle is returned; minus any fees or penalties, and provided the vehicle is returned in accordance with the SIXT Subscription Terms and Conditions.
You are also responsible for any fees and penalties as enumerated in your rental agreement. These include but are not limited to tolls, speeding tickets, parking tickets, etc.
Is there a minimum contract period?
SUBSCRIBE MONTHLY – The contract period is 30 days
SUBSCRIBE NEW – You can choose from a 6, 9 or 12 month term.
All subscription are billed monthly. When you begin your subscription, you simply drive away in your vehicle. This is an experience you will never forget.
How long can I continue to drive my SIXT SUBSCRIPTION car?
SUBSCRIBE MONTHLY – The contract period is 30 days. At the end of this period you can choose to commit to another 30 days.
SUBSCRIBE NEW – The maximum subscription period available is 12 months (364 days), because your comfort and enjoyment of your new vehicle is important to us. At the end of your subscription period, we will work with you to explore further options.
SIXT can terminate the contract in case of breach with the terms and conditions upon written notice.
How old do I have to be to subscribe and drive a SIXT SUBSCRIPTION car?
The minimum age to subscribe and drive a SIXT SUBSCRIPTION is 21 or older. You and all additional drivers must have held a Full New Zealand driver licence for at least two years.
How many SIXT subscriptions can I have?
You can have one active SIXT subscription at a time. Speak with us to discuss your specific needs in further detail.
